DON'T COME SNEAKIN'
Well you can talk about it all day long
you can try to show that it was wrong
and you can try until you cry to make it clear
you could sting me up just like a bee
but don't come sneakin' round me.
Well you can rant and rave until you burst
so I dare you now to do your worst
'cause I can take until you break, you watch and see
you can quote me as an absentee
but don't come sneakin' round me.
Well you may think you got me on the run
think you're gonna get a lot of fun
tryin' to put me through the third and fourth degree
you can offer up your sorry plea
bu don't come sneakin' round me.
Now I could bang my head against the wall
even then I really doubt you'd fall
it's a real hard row to hoe, and that's no lie
you could lock me up and throw the key
but don't come sneakin' round me.
You could jump around just like a flea
and what a laugh a minute that would be
you could even try to force things by decree
you could stand before the holy see
but don't come sneakin' round me.
Now there's no reason it should be this way
I suggest we call the thing a day
if we blink, I think, we'll need a referee
you'll never get a guarantee, 'cause I just simply disagree
so don't come sneakin' round me.
No, don't come sneakin' round me.
