7. Don't Fish Here
My teacher said, 'Know chewing gum.'
So I researched for hours on end
And brought a five-page paper back
The others laughed; my teacher grinned.
She then remarked about two men
Out where the peaceful waters flow
One read a sign; said 'Don't fish here'
The listener said, 'I don't know.'
More quickly than the other kids
I found the answer that she sought
But I won't bring a paper back
On whether fish can hear or not
