Dont Say It. Poem by Brian Ben

Dont Say It.

Rating: 5.0

Don't say it, I know the story
I can read your face. It has it all
Because each time I lied, my chances faded away
But at least we had a moment before
You trusted me though I messed it up
I wound ask you to stay
I would rather walk away
I have no courage to pull you back when you walk out on me
And that one more chance I may never get it back
My breath is staggered when I realize there is no more of you
I try to close my eyes, hoping I let go
But it worsens when you dig deep into my memories
That moment when we had seasons in the moon
Having fun and joy, proves it all
That you lose what you had once in a lifetime
Whoever will take my place is your secret
Deep within am bitter, I wish we could both go back there
Where all lies are dead and gone
Am sorry, I confess, am sorry...
