Doom Poem by Kaloyan Dobrev

Doom

Standing alone in an empty room,
blindfolded and waiting for my doom.
Suddenly, I hear a childish glee.
This reminds me of something sweet,
but what is it?
I don't know.
Suddenly, I feel a scent of prettiness.
This reminds me of something sweet,
but what is it?
I think I might know.
Suddenly, I taste lips of an angel.
This doesn't remind me of anything.
This I know, is you death angel,
tempting me into the bowels of hell.
Hell, a place ruled by devastating love.
Suicidal love that wants my soul.
Suicidal love that will only get the burnt coal,
where once my heart used to beat.
Standing alone in an empty room,
smashed and crushed facing my doom.
