Doomsday Poem by Ahtesham Sham

Doomsday

Mozart's Lacrimosa is playing in the background
And the world is vacant
Humanity died
and now what remains is
Ruins and decays of terrestrial beings-
that once lived here
Their temples and libraries
Are all melted with the ground

The ones who thought that
They are the center of universe
And all that which is out there-
Revolves around them
Are all gone in dust and dirt
And nowhere in the vast and wide cosmos
Is anyone to care about their demise
Just like no one ever cared about their existence
