Doubtful In Love Poem by Adams Elizabeth Oyarese

Doubtful In Love

Rating: 4.5

Again tonight reality taunts me
I am too timid to entertain my fears
That unspoken and uncertain feeling
Concealed deeply yet nurtured by years

A picture of acceptance have I slowly painted
With placid smiles on skeptical eyes
A pact with doubt I remain acquainted
For promises are either true or truthful lies

Have I lived for love or it lived for me?
I waver between imagination and fact
Often what oughtmay never be
Am I truly loved or playing an act?

Acceptance! ! ! Better with the muse of love! ! ! ! Than with hatred. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
