Dove: Land Sighted Victory Poem by Bud Taylor

Dove: Land Sighted Victory

Striding through the silvered trees
cherish the soft velvet hum of
Spring dappled bumblebees

Searching my picture brainy of word vested entreaties
Lucky Stars filled revelry
lofty elm treed Hebrides

Soar from storm cast lightning struck
thundered halls
Awake and alive fire blighted bark scarred
rendered ever gleams

Cherish the dove of Peace here and today
stop and found the rest in stress a great while pray
mind train wrecked passed the test and penned castles unwind
Trust the four winds willfully blind
Perch on shouldered heights

Seven Seas whisper remarkable pleased make right
