Down By The River Poem by Death's Shadow

Down By The River

The bones chatter and shake,
The chains rattle in the howling wind,
And the smell of desperation hangs in the air.

Blood stains the floor,
And screams of tortured souls sing through the walls.

Where skeletons grin,
And the wolves feed.

Where death is mercy,
And the devil cowers in fear.

Down by the river,
Where the pirate ghosts rise,
In search of blood,
And new crew members.
