Dragonfly - Poem by Ana Maeve O'Donnell

It’s alright, go ahead,
Spread your wings and fly.
Fly away, dragonfly.
I think I see a life for you up ahead.
Don’t be afraid.
Open your eyes and see.
Fly away, dragonfly.
I think I see some doors for you up ahead.
If the wind gets to strong,
We have a soft place for you to land.
Fly away, dragonfly.
We know you can succeed with what’s ahead.
When life gets that much harder,
It makes you that much stronger
And then you can
Fly again, dragonfly.
Here’s a soft spot for you to land.
Take a chance, trust your soul,
Turn your head and go.
Fly away, dragonfly.
I want to hear your music again.
Fly away,
Fly away, dragonfly.
Don’t forget to live.
