Draped In The Softest Fabrics Poem by Mohammad Younus

Draped In The Softest Fabrics

Draped in the softest fabrics,
Woven from threads of music sweet,
The melodies of the Divine's harp, gentle,
A calmness like no other.
In this tune, I hear all creation sing,
Praising kindness, enlivened by the Divine's harmony.
Each note draws a smile from me,
Every touch, a surge of ecstasy.

All I know is how to perceive.
And every day, it feels as if the Divine draws closer,
Revealing the core truth of existence itself.
Each day, He unveils a new beauty,
A hidden depth within me.
And one day, I will understand:
I am not just clay and water,
But a spirit of the Divine.

The essence of His spirit breathes strength into me,
Revealing Himself through every movement.
For perfume cannot be hidden in a bottle;
Its scent, a song that travels free,
Proclaiming it has come from the garden of roses
Of the unseen Gardener.
