Draw Aside A Moment Poem by Muriel Rachael Graham

Draw Aside A Moment

Draw aside a moment
Away from hurry and strife
Walk in more pleasant pastures
From ambition and pressures of life.
Draw aside a moment
Take time to commune with your Lord
He'll reveal things that matter
Just take him at his word.
Draw aside a moment
He's there with you through it all
The hairs of your head he has numbered
Every bird of the air he see's fall.
No man was ever scarred like him
So wouldn't he understand
Just what we all have come through
Now he sits at his fathers right hand,
Waiting watching and praying
For us to enter his fold
Trust in his infinite mercy
Walk the streets that are paved with gold.
