Dream Catcher Poem by Prasad Indraganti

Dream Catcher

She put a dream catcher
In the bed room
It has a crocheted ring
And few feathers
Freely moving with air

First I take my time
To sleep
Ensuremy ablusions
Brushing and small errands
Are taken care of
Pillow, rightfully placed
No undue folds
To the bedsheet
Blanket, evenly spread
Feet tucked in

I close my eyes
Air conditioner
Starts murmuring
Tickling sensation in feet
I push blanket aside
Tilt side ways
Toss few times

I know first
I must catch sleep
Before the talisman
Catches dreams
And I have a good
Night's sleep
