Latha Prem Sakhya
Dream Child - Poem by Latha Prem Sakhya
The cold hands of death swept you away.
But you still remain-a part of my being
My very own.
You crept into my heart without my knowledge,
Now I realize, how much you meant to me;
Though not my own.
Your sudden departure - creating a void,
Made me realize-that no one can fill it; .
Unless its you.
You will live, a shining memory
Till my last breath is gone-
A dream child, I never had.
