Dream, Love And Illusion Poem by Ananya Chatterjee

Dream, Love And Illusion

Rating: 5.0

My dream love has become a legend...so perfect so pristine, surreal and divine
whom will see, touch and desire but cannot possess...or may acquire again in dreams
My dream is a teaser to an eternal truth of an end
Its an embellishment, a soothing balm and an energy potion to drag myself a bit further
An ongoing dilemma rather utter confusion I may call...I seek, behold and feel myself living a dream than reality
He warns me to decline temptations,
He irons the wrinkles on my forehead every night,
He protects my shadow till it merges into flood lights,
when I let intoxication devours me and be my spirit guide,
He is in me, I live him everyday...and still is a funny little, alluring dream! !
Far from reality, my Xanadu the La La land,
I and him in a closet of a dream...
