I hear the wind singing my name
Calling me
I see the stars smiling down on me
I want to dance among them
With them
To just pretend to not see my end
Evident and clear
Oh so close
Tangible
The weight of it all
So heavy on my burdened shoulders
I worry the day my dreams will end
To see wrongs left unrighted
I cry for them
I sing for better days
My dreams will end
That I've come to understand and embrace
To love you forever
I promise to always do so
No matter what
My last dreams are of you
Of never having to leave you
Though I know I have to
Don't forget me
Though my dreams have come to an end
I hear the
Those speaking my name
Saying soft promises
Vows to me of you
My dreams are gone
So has the breath from my lungs
The beat from my heart
Will I see you again?
When your dreams end as well?
