Writing A Story Poem by Samantha Rak

Writing A Story

Rating: 5.0

I worry you will reject my dreams
It tears my heart to shreds
But I know I hold your love in my hands
I reach up and feel your face
I look up and see the stars
They wink
Beckoning me to join them in their dance
I know my story will end before yours
I accept the way it has been written
I hope it ends with you
So that I can see your face one last time
The last face I see before those of my ancestors and lost kin
Keep my love deep in your heart
Be blessed until the ending of your own story
And then come to me
We shall write our next story together

I love this. It's sad and hopeful. Me being a story writer, I loved the theme displayed. Well done.
