Dreaming Again Poem by Alfred Ramos

Dreaming Again

You let me into your heart
Through a small opening
The moon, the stars, the heavens
All wrapped up in one euphoric moment
Yes, it was a moan you heard
An utterance of uncontrollable desire
Sweat runs off my back
Following the tracing of your nail marks
I don’t want to stop, can this last forever
But in what seems like seconds, it’s over
All the air out of the balloon
Deflated chivalry shrinking
I slip out of that small opening
Smiling, yet with hope
That I may come this way again
