Every second, ever hour, everyday
I think of you
We are so far apart
but you are always in my heart
My dreams of you
They are so real
Every touch, every kiss
Feels as if you were right beside me
Your lips against mine,
Your breath against my neck
The steady beat of your heart joined with mine
The way you hold me so lovingly,
carefully, the way you hold a child
You whisper in my ear, I love you
And kiss my cheek softly, I whisper
I love you as well with all my heart
And kiss you softly
We sleep, our bodies intwined as one
A peaceful slumber in the arms of
the one I love and hold dear.
In the morning I wake,
to discover it was just a dream
I lay there remembering,
Remembering every touch, every kiss,
the way you held me in your arms
So close, so protective.
And I pray silently that
the day we will meet comes soon
And that this dream will come true
To be held by you
Kissed by you
And loved by you,
Is the greatest gift of all.
You hold my heart, protect it.
And never forget, I will love you always.
