Dreamless Night - Poem by Rik Bertrand
I am wrapped in the silk of a butterfly,
And though I could leave, I do not try.
For here I stay and dream of my love,
My Prince is who I am dreaming of.
I can feel his arms holding me close,
My true feeling of lust I am sure to expose
My heart is beating ever so fast,
I have found my true prince at last.
My strongest desire in life is to love passionately,
And to be loved the same in return, so delicately.
To be held and cared for, to feel the warmth against my skin
It would make my heart and soul whirl and spin and spin again
One can always dream and wish for it to become reality,
I want my Prince and I want love, I want pure sensuality.
I want to feel the heat of the passion and the ecstasy of pure delight,
I want to wake up in the morning knowing I had a dreamless night.
REB (MAY 2012) a dreamless night would mean it was real…
