Dreams Unrealized Poem by Rik Bertrand

Dreams Unrealized

Dreaming, dreaming of dreams unfathomed, unrealized.
Of fantasy lands and rock star bands floating on cloud nine.
Dreaming with eyes wide open, seeing the beauty of it all,
Rolling, sliding, rainbow riding, while crossing the reality line.

Amazing, Amazing visions of wonder and everlasting memories,
Heightened senses as the fun commences, dancing with the stars.
Eyes so bright in the glittering moons light, happy as all can be,
Let's celebrate, populate and bring our tone up a few bars.

Beautiful, Beautiful friends walking about or floating through the air,
Smiles, laughs and small giraffes, we see all that we want to see,
It's everyone's dream, mixed with whipping cream, oh what a delight,
Imagination gone wild, not so mild, has set the whole world free.

Dreaming, dreaming of dreams unfathomed, unrealized,
Captured thoughts, melting pots are only part of the soul's release.
Wired tight, untied just right, so that our spirit can cry out,
Life arranged, and then estranged by visions that will not cease.
