Dreams

Rating: 5.0

Dreams are strange yes they are
From reality they take you far
Climb mountains, swim oceans its true
Do anything its up to you
Visit strange worlds with odd light
This is what some dreams can be like
Hazy pictures that don’t always make sense
Not always relaxing sometimes tense
Dreams are like a weathered old mirror
Reflections dusty and misted or sometimes clear
Like our lives they often leave us confused
And other times leave us smiling bemused
They predict the future and tell past lives some say
Others believe they sort events occurred that day
But whatever dreams are where we all go when asleep
Our brains active, unprotected souls hearts feeling deep
Our hopes, fears, aspirations remain in our dreams
Whatever reality may have brought you it seems
Whereas in life you may just do as you’re told
In your dreams there you can be bold
So those that may always boss you about
You can stand up to them win without a doubt
Dreams are made up of what ever we think
There we can fly, walk run or even sink
We travel our lands or visit others when we dream
Meet anything, anyone, do anything this we’ve all seen
Dreams are strange yes they really are
We make them and they make us what we are
