Dreams Poem by Henry Styx

Dreams

He dreams of being free
He dreams of being loved
But instead he works long hours
Is beaten, broken, and shoved

She dreams of being a mother
She dreams of having kids
But in the fields and in the house
She thinks not like this

They dream of big cities
They dream of money and pay
But he'll never let that happen
No matter what they say
