Dreams And Gifts Poem by Ezekiel Igbodo

Dreams And Gifts

Dreams And Gifts

If you have a dream keep it alive
You will always find your way to what you sees,
Don't tose it to the snout of a swine
If you have a gift don't lose it
If you thinks you've lost one, search deep for it like treasures buried in the bowel of the darkest ocean,
It's an egg of life
Your dreams is like your vision and your gift is like his twins

Whatever you do never forgets your dreams like a lost memories nor neglect your gifts like an abandoned land of treasures,
They are the essence of your existence
An evidence that you came to this world
A trail to be seen by generations to come,
And witness to the unborn that you are exceptionally unique like an eagle in the kingdom of the plumage creatures,
Your gift is you and you is your gift
Dreams is the eyes that sees into your gifts,

What do you see?
Never forgets you will always find your way to what you see,
So don't blow away your gifts like ashes before a mighty wind,
For your dreams seeks to be reveal
And your gifts cries like a child in the womb seeking to be delivered,
Pause and be attentive like a lactating mother,
And you will hear the voice of your gifts pleading like a slave before his master to be unleashed into the dawn of freedom,
Your gift is you and you is your gift.
