Dreams Are Melting Poem by Tiffany Wolf

Dreams Are Melting

Quit calling,
And stop trying to make me love you!
It's not going to happen,
Because you melted my dreams.
I dreamt of a father,
One who would call just to say, 'I love you.'
You called,
But it was just to say you didn't want me.
You love that witch you call wife,
Even more than you love me!
You've known me longer,
And yet, you still listen to her.
She tells you to get rid of me,
And you do it!
Only because it makes it easier to live with her,
Rather than see me happy.
That witch who made my life hell,
The witch who made my dreams melt.
Four years into my life,
You still hadn't come back.
You came by to marry mom,
But she said no, because it wasn't me you wanted.
You took my name off the voice recorder,
Kicked me out of my own room!
The baby wasn't even born yet,
And you gave away my bad to my sister.
No longer do I consider you a father,
No longer do I love you.
My dreams are quickly melting,
All because of the things you've said and done.
I just want to move on with my life,
and forget you ever lived.
No matter what the court says,
I will NEVER live with you.
Because my dreams,
No longer thick and full.
My Dreams Are Melted,
All because of you.
