Alone In Darkness Poem by Tiffany Wolf

Alone In Darkness

Rating: 5.0

The darkness in the air looms,
As the fear comes, the tears start to comsume.
My body trembles and shakes as the world comes to a hault,
I shake in fear from the guilt in fault.
He died, all because of me,
Died when I was blinded and couldn't see.
I killed him and meant it at the time,
But now I see we could've made up instead of hearing his scream chime.
They pierced the air, and death was surrounding,
The thoughts I was feeling, all emotions were grounding.
Hate, was the only thing felt,
Before he went, down on his knees he knelt.
Looked into my eyes and down he fell,
Realizing what happened, my heart began to accel.
I killed him,
A mortal sin.
Darkness surrounds me, and I hear another chime,
And I hear it once, but it's not a scream this time.
The gun goes off and my heart stutters,
Just for a second my eyelid flutters.
Done, gone, end,
Alone in darkness I stand
