Dreams From The Night Poem by Hilda Ndenecho

Dreams From The Night

In night's heart my journey begins
On wings of peace and silence
I fly to a place of new beginnings
Where my silly fantasy makes sense
I live out my imprisoned desires;
All in a flash which expires
Dawn carries me to reality
It is only but mere dreams…
All ceases to be what it seems
In the light of day, I wait night
I wait to walk the land beyond sight
A hope for a day to come;
When I will not wake to dawn
Then this won't be a passing dream
One fantasy will be a million realities
Then day sees only what the night sees
This journey to dreams at night;
Can turn to a life time fulfillment
