Dress Up Poem by aashka thakkar

Dress Up

A Shimmer of sequins,
a party dress and dancing slippers.
Gold and silver bangles on your dainty wrist,
glittery plastic rings on all your precious fingers.
Precious to behold,
but nothing matches the sparkle found within your eyes.
