Dressed In Black Poem by Vision Ghost

Dressed In Black

Keep on dancing, upon the platform on this world
Make this place our own, perceived eyes purled
Embrace one another, and look into a certain future
That which was granted, is born into every culture

Nothing wrong, with how we feel when we gather
Not a damn thing can change, this for our father
Who art in Hell, where we dwell in our paradise
Conjured by darkness, steeped in this to entice

Don’t think you’re higher, than our temple blocks
We can be anything we like, as long as it rocks
Infinity found, within our numbers that overwhelm
History through the ages, from the sword and helm

We were placed upon this Earth, to set it on fire
Unforgiving in everything, that’s our single desire
Listen to me, and come be part of the world I live in
Strip the false guidance, and find pleasures in sin

Seek the art within you, and draw it upon your face
This skin is the canvas, and so is my life’s embrace
If the world could sit back, and let us bang the drum
A new rhythm and beat to life, can be soon to come

We’re governed by passion, and an articulate design
Thus it begins, that a new generation draws the line
The young can live this way, and elders fade away
Knowing that we did, the best we could for their day

Giving them the air to breath, and let them flourish
Their happiness is always something, I will cherish
Despite how much we bleed, we keep coming back
As in life or the next, we are forever dressed in black
