Drifter Poem by Rusty Ed Gibson

Drifter

I'm a drifter
A heavy problem lifter
A guy you don't want to mess with
But you'll be glad you did

I'll take on your problems
And fight them like my own
I'll bail you out
And pay the fine
to get you home

I'll hold You tight
With every drop of
Life I have left

I'll be the guy
That fights for
You to the death

But I won't be the one
That dies
Standing in line.
Behind all the others
staring at your behind.
