Driving Through The Night Poem by GJG Elton

Driving Through The Night

Driving through the night, with miles ahead of me,
Lives a lovely young woman, I've been waitin' to see.
Smoldering eyes, beauty of face, a heart that's made of gold,
Decades it's been, that I have dreamt, her in my arms I will hold.
