Droid Drooling Over The Cartboard Poem by Bohdan Vorejs

Droid Drooling Over The Cartboard

Droid drooling over the cartboard,
over the artificial surface with mounted
razors awaiting footsteps just to tear them apart.

Humming biscuits and toasts of subversive breakfasts
on expensive sofas with oily guns that stain pillows.

Mothers in shops with predatory instincts
dealing with merchants once and for good.

Hybrid borer drilling holes in endless row of excesive material.
It halts mayhem just before machine starts to sound
long list of prizes without items.

Human calculators eagerly swallowing old and leaking batteries
and then with displays again lit drowning beloved pets
in pools of dirty reeking water with added drops of acid scent.

Amorphic numb bulks of biomass mirroring angry stanzas
in the afternoon heat (bosom once touched will
leave your fingertips insensitive) .

Nobody will ever find hidden place
that only almost dead can reach.

Better than that, hide it in tomorrow and be sure
one day every lousy cent will find an owner.

Miracle pouches with lullabies make babies cry.

Rocks of hidden places virtually unseen therefore unquestionable -stroma of wrongly accused -but we loved our accusations -linger and fall in the screams fading in fires -thick gloves that'll help you feel -redux residue, vultures holding children skulls in beaks like peanuts -the tension culminates, extend that feature over the next section -beloved ones, we were there, we can tell, we saw (dense mist above lonely graves) .
