Drowned In! Drowned In! Poem by Mohammad Younus

Drowned In! Drowned In!

Drowned in! Drowned in!
Deep down in the sea of music!
Lost in! lost in!
From top to toe melted!
Salt sculpture dissolved,
In sea water!
Can't find my trace!
Even when I regain my sobriety!
Slowly and steadily,
While I hear
the sweet music of the sea,
Undressed gets my soul!
The dress made of salt is gone!
My identity is gone!
Smoothly the hot waves,
Of the salt sea,
Obliterate my identity!
Neither I remain a hearer,
Nor a seer!
Witnesser and Witnessed,
Become one!
What a musical touch!
The True self uncovered!
That true hearer! That true seer!
Listens to himself!
Sees to himself!
No, I am just drunk!
Let me be sober!
Not reveal the secret!
Secret remains unsaid!
I know no language!
I can't tell the secret as such! ! !
