i was doing a PH search for a poem entitled simply Drowned, and, although i didn't find the one i sought, i found about five with the title. as i was looking, i noticed this title and its first two lines and i could NOT resist looking at it. i also recognized your name. i'm pleased i took a peek as i found this very entertaining! very! perhaps Davy Jones** can play it? i wonder. hmmm? **(as in Davy Jones' Locker) favorite lines: Drowned piano, songs played by the tide And the harp strings shivering inside. and Drowned piano, answers a mermaid's prayer; Startles sea-urchins, with a sight so rare; ..................... i imagine most mermaids NEVER see a piano. maybe in the Titanic? nice rhymes. care to submit this or another to the November a showcase for PH poets on my site? ? thanks. bri :)
