Drowning Poem by Nightshade Starlight

Drowning

Cold icy water licks and turns up my legs,
With every step I take, it goes further.
Until I am sumberged, in dark cold water.
Bubbles floating around me,
My hair swirling around in a dark mass.
I open my eyes to pure darkness and coldness.
Floating, and waiting for something to happen.
It feels like the world is pressing in on me,
Yet I can't help but drown.
