Drunken Whispers Poem by Sumner Smiles

Drunken Whispers

Lean in close to hear the drunken man slurs.
truth can sometimes only be spoken this way
In a non coherent moment keeping any wounds
covered in a tough leather skin.
Still grains show off his heart.
