Dry Eyes Poem by khadera nargis

Dry Eyes

Rating: 1.0

One fine morning my heart asked to mind
How are you doing what happened to your eyes
Mind could not reply the heart's query
Again heart tried to trace my mind capacity
Mind replied, nothing special but age old anxiety

Heart got anxious on this answer by mind
It has told to mind that no dear it is not your duty
Never get burdened with all such tensions
This would be my responsibility to carry
Whatever the problems are only for me

In between the senses scattered while heard
This conversation between my heart and mind
It was no one but my poor eyes
It tried to shed its water to console quickly
Both the heart and mind then together convinced my eyes
Do not try to shed further water
Both of you now totally dried with excess of tears

So I have lost the opportunity even to weep for grief
