Duck Face Poem by Ibn Ali

Duck Face

I hate duckface with a passion
It's so generic
No imagination
Sexually suggestive pouting clowns
Few succeed in looking sultry
Originality was; when they were
Now there's a nation of clones
Their make up looks the same
Their poses are the same
The angles in the portrait of the frame
Barely clothed
But you've never seen her naked face
Barbie in the flesh
A line of living dolls
Deja vu
Is it Kim they're trying to be?
We are not impressed
What if you went missing
And we need a picture to reflect
Or identify you with
Please do us all a favour and be yourself
