Dumb. Poem by Bailey Burris

Dumb.

Rating: 5.0

You and me
And everything I see and everthing I feel
It’s all for real?
How can this be?
I’ve never felt this feeling,
Could it be because I’d never felt you and me?
I feel so free.
Like flying.
To everywhere you go, buying
Everything you want.
Id do anything to make you happy,
To see that smile that’s life changing.
My mind you are rearranging.
Am I dying?
Is this a dream?
It’s to good to be real.
So in this, I have one request,
lets make a deal.
Forever, you and me
We’ll grow old together, make a happy family,
Tell them the stories of when we were young,
And had nothing to live off except pure love.
And no one believed that what we had was real
And everyone laughed when we told them how we feel
When we remember the days, when our love wasn’t as strong.
And we prove to them that they were all wrong
I’ll end this day
by saying it’s true.
I’ve never wanted anything
More then me and you.
