Fallin. Poem by Bailey Burris

Fallin.

Do I dare right these rhymes again.
Of the worlds I’ll never post and the lines I’ll never send.
Poems unwritten, of feeling un-described.
Days go by, hoping you’ll always be mine

It’s safe to say I’ve fallen quite hard.
But how do I tell you? How do I say
That every day together
is my new favorite day

Im scared to tell you what I feel,
I would rather not chase you away.
You’ve changed my life, in every way,
and you brighten up my every day.

You make me feel like no one before
Please, stay here, close the door.
I don’t know what to do,
Every day I feel more for you

My rhymes get sloppy,
My words won't make a dime.
And the feeling get stronger
And my love exceeds time.

I think about you, the hours fly by,
Sitting in my room, thinking about how and why
You would have these feelings for me
You’re everything I wanna be.

You astound me with your poetry,
You nock me off my feet.
Every romantic poem i see
Greatens my giant heart beat

I feel I could write for hours
Of you, of me, of this love of ours.
You are good at everything
I’m just a hopeless poet who has faith of a mustered seed.

But I pray you wont give up on me.
So what if they don’t believe
It’s us, its our hearts, were the ones who can see
That this feelings better then any money

One day i hope to see us together
Without a doubt from any other
One day i wake up to love you openly
but for now, i'll hold tight to you and me
