Dusk To Dawn - Poem by Jacqueline C Nash

As another day draws towards it’s end,
glowing twilight bathes us in her golden light
and gently washes away the cares of the long day.
Lovingly, she enfolds us in her ample arms,
carrying us through the gathering gloomy shadows,
to eventually leave us in the darkness of the night.
Soon, we will begin our journey of dreams,
when we ride with ghosts on the whispering winds,
as we travel in sleep towards the first light of dawn.
