There's a voice deep inside me,
that still tries to get out
No matter my mission,
...
"Feeling beyond touch, "
the Sorcerer said…
"Knowledge beyond thought, "
...
My cupboard’s a mess,
my sink filled with lye
My stables now empty,
...
Is truth that important,
or ignorance bliss
Your place on the Ferris Wheel,
...
Christians flock into their churches,
travelers hit the road
Searching for what's beyond their view
...
Be careful as you age …
when they try to convince you
that your rough edges need to
come off
...
Dodging a bullet,
the PET Scan loomed large…
results both good and bad
...
If I don't first have your eyes,
will I ever have your ears
If I don't first have your mind,
...
The greatest Poem I ever wrote…
the one I just laid down
The one to last a thousand years
...
Where would we be without language,
still naked around the fire
Trading bones with a grunt or moan,
...
My DNA lettered
My bloodstream in verse
My feelings in couplets
My last goes to first
...
Can men fight without symbols
where victory calls beyond love and hate
Can men die without symbols
...

A Voice Deep Inside Me
There's a voice deep inside me,
that still tries to get out
No matter my mission,
it screams and it shouts
Its call is then loudest,
on those darkest of nights
When my mind seeks new refuge,
from this Seraph's delight
I toss and I turn,
but it speaks louder still
As its words start to burn,
from new vision distilled
No barter or denial,
will turn back its call
The Muse is on fire,
—my pen can no longer stall

Kurt Philip Behm is a great multi-talented, generous, natural and philosophical internationally acclaimed poet from United States who writes beautiful poems straight from his mind through perception. His poems are very pleasing to read and understand and these are gems in the world literature bank. I have gone through many of his poems and finding deep philosophic essence I am entirely amazed. His poetic skill is of high standard. His perseverance is highly appreciated.
On behalf of all fellow poets, PH family and our Mahakul family a title of honour is offered to poet Kurt Philip Behm as, Erudite Effort. From today on-wards he will be known as Erudite Effort Kurt Philip Behm. This title of honour is offered to him due to his perseverance, high philosophical poetic skill and his contribution to the world literature. We hope all poets and visitors will accept this.
