Dying Earth Poem by kharon march

Dying Earth

We tried to admonish the earth, I loved this world but they abolished its worth. They tainted the blue painted on the worlds canvas they poisoned our field and now they struggle to comprehend why the crops won't yield. We rip our life lines from the soil and now we toil to undearstand why our air is thin, we are all short of breath now in this life rife with sin. We have suffered so long fighting on the bottom tier struggling, praying that god would hear.
