Eagle - Poem by Josh Alfred

Eagle soars
Through heaven's doors
The rain begins to pour
Flies to cover

Wet wings
Eagle screams
Shrieks its dreams
Wants to hover

Crazy eyes
Every day it strives
Thoughts on eating time
Flesh to devour

Feast to fetch
Brave wings stretch
Old bald wretch,
Nesting in clock tower
