Earth! Be Complacent Poem by Soumen Chattopadhyay

Earth! Be Complacent

In our embryo, the words of the past are still alive today
Fertilized in light, those particles of first birth;
Silently, in the corpse of night, finding the immortal white lotus
Leaving many tastes of life behind, smelling the anguish
And the half-burnt navel of the cremation ground, they
Have undergone the process of evolution, many times;
in the scared black night
They float in the ancient air and they cry; it gets broken,
The seed of human, inside the dark of the woman, too deep
It's too helpless, in the morose rooms, by two sides of the black road
In the great darkness of the birth and death, in the tied lane
Forgetting the twilight-sun, the day passes away
In our continual screams; becoming dirty
The earth gets submerged in the remote blanks along with all desires
In the streams of life, disembodied; countless dreams of the century
Find the mystery of birth; all the hidden glands of the head,
Today, deny the whole world; in too great reflection
Of the seditious life, my child doesn't float stable
Just the perturbation, with the deep perturbation
The blood and flesh of the holy body, burns every day
At the reactor of the false city, in the most common way
Moving away from time, my all wishes
Sing in dreary smile; there's nothing inside the circle
I stay awaken in the shadow, sun and water of the forgotten age
One day, I see that all errors and all evils get eroded

The history of my birth is cursed
In the way of peace, to return to our home
Wake up to divine prayer, this time at the chest of night
Earth! Be complacent! Let our erosion be stopped
We'll stay awaken, loving the dust, soil and water
Staying awakened, we'll see many sky and sun
