Earth Shakes; Only Is It Poem by james watkin

Earth Shakes; Only Is It

Rating: 5.0

Earth shakes; only is it
A disaster called
When that for town, hushed, is
Stood back from, appalled.

Declared a tragedy
Is not to echo
What's spewed, with indifference
From out volcano

Except, and only then
Stone-cold as pose they
For whom were too foolish
To get in its way!
