Eat Meat
Being a pacifist,
I do not wash my hands
With soap,
Nor do I trim trees
Or uproot weeds.
What’s living in the ground
Or on my hands
Or in my head
Should go on living
And do so with little intrusion.
But I am human
And I do eat meat.
