Echoes - Poem by Raymond Valadez

In his eyes my beloved you will always see mine
And when you go to drink from his kiss you will always taste my lips

When he holds you in his arms, you will always remember the magic of my charm
When all the colors start to fade into grey. You will always recall how vibrant they painted our days
when all music begins to loose all its notes and in all your actions you are force to emote, nothing will be as simple as when we held each other so long ago

When my voice echo’s in your heart every day that we are apart
When the sea’s come out of their place
When birds no longer migrate
And the sun begins on its mission to dim
That is when you will most remember me
