Eden Poem by Farhan Rajab

Eden

Rating: 5.0

At the heart of a leafy labyrinth
webs of emerald leaves sway therein

Gleefully waving and dancing in the breeze
Twisted under umber wood bowing on their knees

Delicate patterns etched onto the bark
Each kneaded into a a never-ending arc

At the centre, a lagoon of sapphire
With the same intensity of the hottest fire

Sparkling and waving along the border
Intense artistry without any order

Refined movements along the mud
AS the beauty threatens to flood

A beautiful work of art nicely embellished with poetic rhyme and rhythm. Thanks for sharing Farhan.
