Another world, another people in the dusk haunt lea ways,
Snail narrow passages in such insufficient light sneak betwixt the
Vintage houses; houses are of quixotic shapes or of pattern with coarse complex,
Some are of like desert trees, some are gothic, others pathetic,
Overall a congregation of doomed habitation in perpetual eventide.
Here Sunshine as if forbidden, so the moonlight but stars are visible,
Men, women, children huttle from one alley to another, no spacious road,
Neither any open colonnade, strand and garden or any odour of flower enliving,
Vegetation if sparsely visible are fully clad in darkness, bunch of parched leaves,
No trace of wind is still found in our considerable stay and like others we too here
Breath fire, fire not that of earth but an imbecile sparkle of stunning hues,
Shades of all colours turn here instant dull and a stale purple red flows through the
Dry rivers bed and through the thoroughfares, sign of enough bloodshed in earth
as if being rechristened in this land of dead; uncomfortable hours, moments,
Those meeting are not of our acquaintance, nor they have clear faces or gentle looks.
More we are navigating in this wonderland more we are troubled with growing dejection,
As if another earth so stupefying and dull has chased away the old world living.
Hither we have found people of all vocation from priest to doctor or attorney or politician
And the church, mosque, pagoda, temple with hush offerings of prayers by these
Citizens unsubstantial not having any voices inner or outer leanings and all
Born and lost in terrible silence; here clock never moves for morning or day,
Nor we have found anything like HELL where citizens undergoing purgatory fire
Or receiving lashes innumerable for past misdeeds or boiling in water like breakfast eggs.
Only punishing in here is failure of all total communication with each other and reigning silence,
As if no one trust each other as they also not in earth but what is most stunning in here that
These fellows having knowledge how to stagnate the time forever, so the voices.
