Edina-2 Poem by shuvo chakraborty

Edina-2

Cut the Moon half
And halve her to peep the splendor
That oozes out from severed Queen of night.
Ignore the watchful eyes of stranger owls and bats
And pose beside her with open arms in all closeness
Till her consenting eyes with finest smile
Accompany ye to the golden couch,
Far away the crowded stars and old fashioned planets.
Put the fine chosen words one by one
And weave another light year of perfumed night
To hair split the bygone life of distant earth.
Next carefully wade the unknown void
Assuming soft built wings of sense
When face on face, trace the meaning of birth.
May her blackened lids fall each over
Breathing the flavour of sweet lips,
But allow not ye drowsy self
Be spelt mighty slumber on lingering manly face
Before making of astroid built tent
Beside any milky way never to be burnt by truant mateor.
Take it as safest nest for enjoying the moony fest
As long you can like the poler day,
As you know well after returning to our world
All will be gospel after the dawn.
